Big things are happening at Allocadia. In June, we closed a round of Series A financing, bringing in $7 million to support our growth and expansion. We’ve been working hard to build a new, exciting industry category: Marketing Performance Management. We’re experiencing a huge demand for our marketing budgeting, planning and performance solutions.
Others are recognizing our work, too. Last week, we were proud to announce that we were awarded a Technology Innovation Award by Ventana Research.
As we’ve been building our product and spreading the word about how we make marketers’ lives easier, we’ve also been building our team. At fifty employees, we had outgrown our existing office space. So, this week we moved to a new office space in downtown Vancouver. We’re very excited about the new space: 10,000 square feet with room for the big growth we’re planning over the next year. We have room to grow from 50 employees to 100.
The new office is a big milestone for Allocadia. We’ve grown from a brand-new startup without any office space to a growing small business in an incubator environment to an established company in an office space that fits our needs for growth and innovation. Allocadia has been constantly transforming. Transformation is an important value for us, and it’s a theme we’ve carried into the design of our new office space. We’re not a technology company that deploys our tools for new customers and then walks away. We’re always thinking about how we can help customers innovate, grow and transform their marketing processes.
Because we’re focused on transformation, we’ve chosen the butterfly as a core symbol in our branding. To us, butterflies represent transforming from one stage to another. Butterflies are prevalent throughout our new office design — in a butterfly mural, the butterfly-inspired names of office rooms, and our customer transformation-focused imagery and artwork.
Our new office is also important for us as we continue to grow our team and bring in new talent. Our goal: Be a flagship tech employer in Vancouver. Our new space, located centrally in downtown Vancouver, will help us attract the best talent in our community. The downtown location is important to us: It’s close to transit and easy to get to, and close to many of the city’s best restaurants and bars. Our new building also houses a yoga studio, gym and spin studio, giving our employees nearby options to help them stay healthy and happy.
And, we’re continuing to grow. We’re hiring for sales, customer success and technical positions.
Come see our new space! We’ll be holding an open house for the Vancouver tech community on October 29 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
